This tour had been jinxed from the start as the train wasn't allowed to go into Birmingham New Street, so two weeks ago we were asked to pick the train up at Tame Bridge Parkway which wasn't a problem. Then on the morning there was a points problem coming off the SVR at Kidderminster which delayed the train by 40 mins by the time it reached Tame Bridge. The video tells you the other problems we had travelling to the seaside town. The working was 1Z17 Swindon to Scarborough and 1Z18 was the return HC. The Loco was D1015 Western Champion and the other side was D1031 Western Rifleman. The information and service from Pathfinder Tours was excellent throughout the day, they even rang me to tell me the train was running late, and it would be arriving in ten mins. .
