Royal Train at Rugby station + other goodies 28/06/21
Departed Wolverton works ECS to Windsor riverside station & departed at 23.10 hrs to Scotland.
On Monday morning I believe it stabled up in the Grangemouth docks area.
The Queen and William then visited Irn Bru's new factory in Westfield, but I don't know which station the royals got off the train at.
After the factory tour they got back on the train at Croy station and went round the southern route around Edinburgh where the train waited at Portobello Junc for a long time before going into platform 19 at Edinburgh Waverley.
The train then departed ECS going east using the southern line around Edinburgh again to Carstairs to join the WCML to Wolverton works.
A train associated with royal travel is shown operating around several locations in the UK, including Rugby, Edinburgh Waverley, Carstairs, Croy, Riverside Station, and Wolverton. The footage includes scenes of the train departing from Wolverton works, heading to Windsor riverside station, and later continuing through Scotland. It appears to have made stops at various points along the route, including Portobello Junction and Edinburgh Waverley. Multiple locomotives and headcodes are identified in the metadata, though specific operator details are not provided for individual segments of the journey.
Fishplate has identified 7 locomotives in this video. We’ve also matched 2 headcodes and 4 operators . Create a free account to see where they appear, unlock timestamps and locations, and view the full breakdown.
