At the time of recording the Cross Country HSTs had just a few weeks left in service - now it’s only a matter of days. Unfortunately the DfT has decided to replace these spacious comfy trains with… nothing. The existing Voyager fleet will be stretched even more. On the 9th of August 2023 I had one last ride on one from Derby to Sheffield, as seen here with 43303 & 43239.
