Caledonian Sleeper Diversions at London Kings Cross Ft. Class 87 + 92 + 90

Description
On 1st September 2018, I was due to travel up to Doncaster for the annual Railcam meetup, and as this meant travelling from Kings Cross and Euston was closed, I saw an opportunity to finally catch the sleeper diversions into the Cross.

In this video we see many different sleeper services, whereby usually the sleeper is formed of two services, 1M16 from Highlands and 1M11 from Lowlands, this day was slightly different as Kings Cross has no platforms long enough to accomodate 16 coaches. This ultimately means that the Inverness to Euston service works separately from the Fort William & Aberdeen portions. So in total there are three trains instead of the usual two, with many more locomotives needed to get the train from Kings Cross to Wembley. It's an interesting operation, and I'm glad I've finally managed to see it happen! Enjoy!
AI summary Generated from Fishplate metadata

It shows the separation of services usually combined into two trains—Inverness to Euston and Fort William & Aberdeen—into three separate trains requiring additional locomotives. Locomotives including Class 87, 90, and 92 are visible, with services operating between Inverness, Fort William, Aberdeen, Euston, London King's Cross, and Doncaster. The footage highlights the logistical adjustments made to accommodate the sleeper trains under these conditions.
