This day was nearly a Disaster for us.
Well as I was driving I said as a joke I hope they are not cancelled today as 160 miles is a long way to come for a English Breakfast.
Well just before we went for breakfast we checked and the air went blue as the 37s diagrams for the day had been cancelled,
After Breakfast we checked the yard, no sign of them, checked the train from Yarmouth a unit, then my son said lets check the next working from Gt Yarmouth and to our joy the 37s rolled past us and everyone had smiles on there faces. (They were on a different diagram)
I think back now that it was a good job we didn't drive straight back home. Hope you enjoy the sounds of these tractors. 37407 and 37424.
A journey to Norwich was initially disrupted when two Class 37 diesel locomotives, 37407 and 37424, were not scheduled for service. After a morning of uncertainty, the locomotives were eventually spotted operating on an alternative route, much to the delight of those present. The video captures the experience of tracking these historic units, highlighting their presence at locations including Norwich and Hope. No operators or headcodes are explicitly identified in the footage.
