The brand new Accurascale MK5s have finally arrived and they are superb! The detail is amazing as are the features. They are seen under test on my layout, behind Accuracales 92010 and 92020. Please note finishing touches have yet to be applied to the coaches (destination screens) and I haven’t quite got the lights set up correctly yet, neither is the correct formation of the train. Whilst it is a fantastic model, there are a couple of issues: The magnet couplers can’t hold all 8 coaches and regularly split in motion (on my layout) as you will see in this clip, so sadly I’ll be running it in a 6 car formation until a solution is found. Also the wheels can be quite fiddly to get on the track. Let me know if you have any other problems!

Soon the TPE MK5s will arrive and once they’re here I’ll do a video.
