Description
Following this mornings trip to Weston-Super-Mare model railway exhibition, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0AIKWoduKk we headed to the second model railway show in the region, as the Sedgemoor Gauge O Group were hosting their Annual O-Gauge Model Railway Exhibition at Burnham-on-Seas King Alfred School.

This perfectly complimented Weston’s offerings in the morning, again with some really high quality, detailed model layouts on display, and an O Gauge test track set up in the middle of the hall for demonstration running, and allowing people to test their purchases!

Amongst the many great examples of modelling on display here, one stand out highlight had to be the working example of a Hornby O Gauge tinplate clockwork train set, with some of the engines and stock dating back to the early 1920s! This was set up in a side room at the venue and certainly impressed all who walked in to see it! | 16.02.2025
