DURONTO Vs RAJDHANI : Chennai - Delhi Full Journey by 12269 DURONTO Express [Part 2]

The second part of the ultimate chase of the Rajdhani Express by the Duronto Express. This part showcases the journey from Nagpur Jn to Hazrat Nizamuddin.

Also covered in this video are three of India's Narrow Gauge Routes, namely the Nagpur NG, Gwalior Maharaja NG and the Dholpur NG. The trains can be seen sidelined at their respective stations as the Duronto rummages through the main line.

As the train departed Nagpur, there was a chain pulling and the cute little ZDM decided to show off its horns in front of the big WAP7. During the night, the train skipped Bhopal and halted at Jhansi while the passengers, including me, were snoring away ti glory. The first important skip of the morning was Gwalior, followed by Agra Cantt.

As the train neared Okhla, the Rajdhani's tail could be seen just a few yards ahead. However at Okhla, the late running Madhya Pradesh Sampark Kranti was let to enter Hazrat Nizamuddin before the Duronto and after the Rajdhani.

At Nizamuddin, the Duronto and Rajdhani were received in adjacent platforms :)
