It was truly an amazing few hours with top and tail Locomotive Servivces Limited class 47 diesel locomotives providing the power for the Statesman railtour to Bath, followed by the West Coast Railways powered Northern Belle en route to Edinburgh.
Onto Worksop where we see top and tail Rail Operations Group class 93,s crawl through the station before seeing the same pair at Doncaster, where we see the surprise of the day. Heritage diesel locomotive class 50 008 Thunderer easing down platform 1 before heading to York.
