First ever MERCHANT NAVY + 73082 'CAMELOT' in action at the SEVERN VALLEY RAILWAY AUTUMN STEAM GALA!
Now fully back up and running between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth, there was an intensive timetable in operation with freights, local shuttles, auto trains, and the return of all night running!
There were also a series of debuts with SR 35006 ‘Peninsular & Oriental S N Co’ now in the twilight months of its current boiler certificate becoming the first ever Merchant Navy Southern Pacific to run on the line in 60 years of preservation, BR Standard 73082 ‘Camelot’ making her first ever visit from the Bluebell Railway, LMS Jinty 47298 visiting from the East Lancs, visiting NCB Saddle Tank 49 and the return of GWR 813 to traffic, working in its guise as NCB 11!
GWR 1450, 4930 ‘Hagley Hall’, Pannier 7714, 7802 ‘Bradley Manor’, Stanier LMS Mogul 13268 and Standard 75069 were all also in action making for a proper steam up and the weather played ball making for a great Friday spent filming the event at Kidderminster, Bewdley with @Rail125 and Bridgnorth!
