BR in the 2010s Staines Station At Night on 3rd May 2012
Staines Station (At Night)
3rd May 2012
In order to capture on film the return leg of Steam Dreams "Cathedrals Express" from Exeter SD to London Victoria, being hauled by Steam Locomotive 35028 "Clan Line" I made this late evening visit to Staines. An EWS class 66 drifts through under the footbridge with some stone. The High Capacity Class 450s (Depicted by the HC above the unit number) are seen on the Windsor and Eton/Waterloo services and the Class 458 "Juniper" EMUs are seen on the Reading/Waterloo route. A short video but worthy of uploading due to the historical traction element. I hope this video takes you back to the period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read, and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually.. Many thanks to all subscribers and for the likes, also to all those viewers whom over the years, have kindly shown an interest and appreciation in my material.
