This first edition of Lineside Southeast contains footage of three recent railtours. First up are the class 55 Deltic WCML positioning tours between Preston and Euston worked by 55022. Filmed at Headstone Lane of Friday 4th March and the return trip at Ledburn Junction on Sunday 6th March.

The second tour I filmed that weekend was Pathfinders "Norfolk Broadsman" with DRS traction in the form of 20309, 20308 top and tailing with 37667. The tour originated at Crewe and was heading to Norwich. I filmed it just to the north of Ely where the tour had to reverse so II got two chances to film it.
