BR in the 2010s Arpley Junction (Warrington) on 2nd March 2012
Welcome to the year 2012
Arpley Junction (Warrington) on 2nd March 2012
On a rather misty and murky morning I called in at Arpley Yard and the junction near to the mainline Station. A successful short piece of filming, as I witnessed a Bardon Aggregates liveried 66623 shortly followed by Freightliner liveried 70002. An EWS Liveried Class 60065 named "Spirit of Jaguar" with a Leaping Jaguar on the nameplate. The Locomotive ran round and passed by the camera to enter the Yard around the corner. The final Locomotive to make an appearance was Freightliner 70013 as she approached from under the Bank Quay Station and ran round, again only to pass by me and enter the Railway Yard out of camera view. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read, and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually..
