Volume BR37-01P
Another feature in this newer series of Vintage Traction from the pre digital era, from the mid 1980's to the turn of the millenium, when the digital age started to put an end to analogue video...
This feature focuses on the Preservation scene and features the English Electric Class 37 Locomotive, or English Electric Type 3.
This feature covers the period from around 1993 to 1994 and the scenes were captured on The Mid Hants Railway and The Severn Valley Railway while appearing at the railway's gala weekends during this period. These class of Locomotives were fairly late to start appearing at the gala's , as the class were still very active on the BR Mainline, and were still hauling passenger services for a few years to come over the regions. North Wales and Scotrail on the Highland Line to Inverness and some services in the Welsh Valleys. Also the class was still heavily involved with the different Freight and Engineer's sectors. I do hope you enjoy the feature and please comment and like, if you feel the video was of some enjoyment and nostalgia to watch..
