40145 and 90001 Working a Private Charter on the WCML 25/9/2020
On the 25th September 2020 Locomotive Services Ltd operated a private charter from London Euston along the West Coast Mainline to Mossend using their Class 90 number 90001 which has been repainted into the InterCity Swallow livery and named "Royal Scot". The ECS for the charter was worked from Crewe into London Euston by Class 40 locomotive number 40145 which is owned by the Class 40 Preservation Society.
