Short Visited Locations Around Scotland In 1990
Volume 001
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Locations I visited for a shorter length of time than usual. All taken during 1990, mainly the month of May. The first location is of Annbank Junction on the Mauchline/Killoch Branch where a ground frame has to be operated to allow access to the line to Killoch. The second location is a re visit to Newton On Ayr and Falkland yard for more freight traffic as is the next location at barassie Station. Finally a very brief look at Fort William Station long before the large green park was swallowed up by the large supermarket which stands there today. A glimpse of the train returning from Mallaig is seen, ages before Hogwarts made this run more famous. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
