i origionaly went to go see the deltics at Barrow Hill Round House, but the deltic shed only opens on a saturday. i had a look round, they had loads of diesels: class 56s, 37s, 20s etc. after 1pm i set off to the peak railway. the peak railway was spectacular. you could look in the depot at rowsley, there were also a narrow gauge railway. on the way back to Mattlock i got out of the window to see the beautiful countryside.
