My Tribute to the British Rail Class 43 Intercity 125 High Speed Train/HST
My YouTube tribute tribute to arguably Britain’s best passenger train, the mighty High Speed Train. The HST was first introduced to the UK railway network in the 1970s as the InterCity 125 and is still in service today all be it in dwindling numbers. The HSTs were first numbered as multiple units but the power cars were reclassified as Class 43s under the British Railways TOPS system.
Filmed at the following locations;
Great Western Mainline (GWML) South Stoke, Hinksey yard, Cholsey, Shrivenham

Plus the First Great Western (FGW) diversions over the Chiltern Line at West Wycombe and Souldern Viaduct near Aynho.
