After arriving into Reading around 13:00 from Worcestershire Parkway, it was straight into a mad dash for Platform 14 to catch 6M51 – the 09:42 Merehead Quarry (FHH) to Quainton Railhead. Thankfully, the working was running a few minutes late, giving just enough time to get the cameras rolling 📹

At Reading, a crew change takes place and 60055 comes to a stand before continuing on its journey. The driver stepping off the service was none other than the “Westbury Waver”, who’s becoming increasingly well known and popular over on Facebook 👋

Not long after, at 13:19, 6V37 – the 09:53 Quainton Railhead to Tytherington storms through Reading a remarkable 114 minutes early.

At the same time, 4L33 – the 09:59 Wentloog (Freightliner) to London Gateway Freightliner departs Platform 15 following a crew change at Reading.
