Rewind back to March 2023 and this video contains the 1:1 scale trains from the Modern Image O Gauge (MIOG) 2023 exhibition at @crewehc - this includes the visiting Class 47 from @locomotiveservicesgroup plus the Class 37 from @directrailservices5979 both of which have startups featured in this video! In addition to this, I filmed the colossal Freightliner Class 66 top and tailed HOBC (High Output Ballast Cleaner) train which was (attempting) to access Crewe Basford Hall running wrong direction on the Down Slow just North of the station - this easily takes up 3 - 4 minutes just to watch this pass alone and is known as the longest operational train in the UK! In addition to this, a special visit by RailAdventure and their Class 43 locomotives which are seen hauling some @Merseyrail2002 Class 777 units up to Kirkdale for testing and commissioning. All in all, a very busy and worthwhile day at Crewe!
