Riding ONBOARD the ŠZ Autovlak through the Slovenian Mountains behind 664 108 - 17/6/23
The train runs from Most Na Soca - Bohinjska Bistrica, and cuts the road journey through the mountains by half. It’s so easy to get this train, simply wait in your car and the conductor will sell you the ticket before you board. For people without a car there’s a passenger coach at one end of the train. I’ll show you how you board the train in the video and a few clips of the train from the line side. All car passenger remain in their cars during the journey (which is amazing!)
Now - I must apologise for the wind noise & the wobbly footage… you’re on a freight wagon and the ride isn’t very comfortable at all! Also I don’t think the video does the noise any justice - it was so loud and fantastic I’d love to do it again & highly recommend it.
