On a very sunny October 23rd 2024, I made a short visit to Basarabeasca, right on the Ukraine/Moldova Border in the hope of seeing a freight train or two. Sadly I didn’t managed to capture an TE33s on freight trains, but I did managed to see two ChME3 locos hauling wagons. Firstly we see ChME3 4327 slowly shunting wagons in/out of the unloading area, then ChME3 2441 bringing some wagons into the yard. The lady who was in the level crossing hut informed me that there were no planned moves until after darkness so I went back to Chisinau after this.
