I visited Medstead & Four Marks, Ropley and Ropley Bank and captured on video Steam Locomotives SR 925 'Cheltenham' and SR 850 'Lord Nelson' looking absolutely splendid in the superb Winter Sunshine, running between Alresford and Alton and back. It was a brief visit on both days and really to see how the new equipment would perform in the low temperatures. The MHR held a Weekend Diesel Gala in April of this year, which I cover in a video coming soon.
