What Mega Thrashes & Clag from 37218+37425 on "The Pennine Wayfarer" 12/03/22
In the past I did a lot of chasing rail tours so it was like the old days but now I didn't have my mate Peter with me, but for me there was still some great highlight to my long day of doing a lot of driving.
Also it was going to be the last DRS tour using class 37s this side of the Scottish border on a Pathfinder tour I have been told, so that for me was extra special to get them on film.
This video captures a railtour featuring British Railways and Direct Rail Services (DRS) class 37 locomotives numbered 37218 and 37425. The footage was filmed across several locations including Bolton, Bristol Temple Meads, Hope, Mossley, Todmorden, and Woodley. The railtour was part of a DRS event, noted as one of the last using class 37s on a Pathfinder tour near the Scottish border. The recording highlights the challenges faced during planning and filming, with some locations not being reached due to traffic issues.
Fishplate has identified 2 locomotives in this video. We’ve also matched 2 headcodes and 2 operators . Create a free account to see where they appear, unlock timestamps and locations, and view the full breakdown.
