The Great Central Railway Diesel Gala was a three day event from 29th to 31st March 1996. Watching this video you could be forgiven for thinking it was an East Lancashire Railway diesel gala, but it was clear to all that the Bury Hydraulic Group made the event their own! D832 & D7076 were the primary performers, with D4 "Great Gable" and D7659 seemingly minor parts in the whole event, although to be fair I stuck with the Hydraulics most of the time.

It was a great weekend!
