Description
PRESERVED RAILWAYS IN THE 1990's
Severn Valley Railway 1994 Spring Diesel Gala (With Steam)
PART ONE
Bewdley Tunnel (Foley Park)
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of The Severn Valley Spring Diesel Gala taken on 07 & 08/05/1994. Captured on film in several idealic locations I have split this feature into 3 parts. Part 1 is filmed from Bewdley Tunnel (Foley Park) Part 2 is from Bewdley South and North and finally part 3 is Eardington and Hampton Loade. I believe this event to be one of the most ambitious and intensive, also enjoyable weekend the SVR have ever put on. The sheer variety of running Locomotives was outstanding. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
