Virginia Water Station + Trumps Mill La (Chertsey Line)

In this rather concise and short video I made my way to Virginia Water. On the line out of London Waterloo towards Reading, via Staines is located the Station of Virginia Water, where the Reading line goes off to the Right and the Chertsey line branches off to your Left in the Down Direction. On this visit I started off at Trumps Mill La Overbridge, where trains can be seen rounding the curve by the station and making their way along the line to Chertsey and Weybridge. On this day they were in the hands of the EMU Class 450 'High Capacity' sets. The VSOE stock on The Golden Age of Travel (Luncheon Special) from London Victoria to Shalford, with Steam Locomotive 'Clan Line' 35028 passed by on her 'Down' journey. After this I relocated to the Station itself, where the London Waterloo/Reading via Ascot services were in the hands of the 'Juniper' Class 458 EMU. The weather started to get a little wintry, and nothing much else was on the cards so I packed up for the day. I hope this video takes you back to the period with fond memories.
