The Network SouthEast Years Remembered: A Slideshow
Due to the current situation I have not been able to do any filming so I have decided to start scanning my collection of railway slides and publish some of them in the form of a video slideshow to keep my channel ticking over until the current lockdown ends. The first of these slideshows comprises of images taken during the Network SouthEast era of the early 1990s. Featuring the loco hauled workings that were a feature of the period with Class 50s, Class 47s and Class 33s plus some of the slam door multiple units that were still around.

A pair of Network SouthEast liveried class 47s stand side by side at Salisbury. On the left 47701 with an empty ECS working to Eastleigh and and on the right 47714 with the 17:38 Exeter-Waterloo service. 13th March 1993.

A pair of Network South East class 411 4-CEP EMUs numbers 1563 and 1556 working an up service at Dartford in Kent. 17th March 1994.
50007 and D400 (50050) double heading the 16:55 Waterloo-Exeter "Network Express" service carrying a "Farewell Class 50" headboard on the last day of class 50 operations on the West of England line. Salisbury. 24th May 1992.
A pair of class 415 4EPBs numbers 5490 and 5603 head south with a Network South East service at Polhill. 14th March 1994.
47636 makes a prototypical smokey departure form London Paddington with the 16:50 "Network Express" to Oxford. 31st August 1991.
A pair of class 411 4 CEP EMUs Nos. 1580 and 1513 form the 15:36 Dover Priory - Charing Cross Network SouthEast service at Hawkesbury Street Junction, Dover. 23rd September 1993.
