Railadventure 20007 & 20205 Chop North Working T&WM 555 Drags September 2025
When 20007 & 20205 were dropped on the 555 drags in place of the usual powercars, I knew I had to make the most of it. Seen three times at different locations, they did not disappoint. It's a amazing to see the oldest mainline certified diesel locomotive dragging brand new stock.
First up, 20205 is seen leading the pair into Holgate, awaiting the shunt signal. They are then presented with the aspect and are ripped wide open with 3x 555s and barriers in tow.
Next, the 20 pair are seen shattering the silence at Thirsk as they get away from a standing start, fully powering towards and through the station with a salute from the driver.
Finally, 20007 leads south after dropping off the final 555, thrashing past Askham with some nasty wheel flats on the barrier coaches that had delayed one of the runs north earlier in the week
Thanks for watching!
