Push Pull Tours ran "The Herald Angel" on 20th November 1993 using 33116 and 4-TCs 410 & 417. The train ran from London Waterloo to ARCs Whatley Quarry yard and Foster-Yeomans' diesel depot complex via Westbury with the ultimate destination being Cranmore on the East Somerset Railway using the connection just beyond the Foster-Yeoman site. The reason for visiting the East Somerset Railway was to enjoy a few rides behind then recently restored London Brighton & South Coast Railway E1 Tank B110. After a couple of return trips between Cranmore and Mendip Vale stations, everyone rejoined the train for some more 33116 back to London Waterloo via Westbury & Salisbury. An entertaining and enjoyable day out!
