Acton Wells Junction (Acton W. London) on 20th April 1994
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of Acton Wells Junction , East of Acton Yard where the line branches off from the Great Western Mainline and climbing to join the North London Line. A small amount of freight was seen on this visit as it was quite later in the day, but did used to get busy earlier in the day. Class 47 (47004) makes another appearance hauling some freight into Acton Yard. Class 313s are busy shuttling from Richmond to Willesden and V.V. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
