Norwich Model Railway Exhibition- 12 April 2025
There was a wide variety of layouts at the exhibition with a nice N scale layout based on Buxton in the Peak District which really captured the prototype very well.
Norfolk and Suffolk Narrows Gauge Modellers Graham and Caroline Watling had their excellent Pye Rigg Works layout running which is O scale running on 9mm gauge track. The layout features all Y points in the scenic section which gives an interesting curvaceous look to the track formation. The scenic modelling is superb as ever.
Other interesting layouts include the Austrian HO scale layout Kappall and the lovely East Anglian themed Whiteley layout in EM.
The Norwich Model Railway Club running track was busy with a great variety of trains and gauges with the highlight being the enormous Big Boy steam locomotive running round.
Overall it was an enjoyable show with lots of layouts and trade stands.
