73096 on The Daylight Limited Railtour 15th February 1998
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of the MHR's Inaugural run on 15/02/1998 of their Daylight Limited Railtours. This tour utilised Steam Locomotive 73096 throughout and ran from Alton in Hampshire via Guildford to Reading, then Basingstoke to Salisbury and Westbury. The train then ran up the "Berks and Hants" line to Reading and returned to Alton via Guildford. I managed to capture this tour on film at various locations throughout it's journey so I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually.
