GWR 1450 AUTO SANDWICH + a look inside the new RAILWAY 200 INSPIRATION EXHIBITION TRAIN | 29.06.2025
The recently arrived #Railway200 Inspiration Exhibition Train consisting of x5 Mk3 carriages was open to the public for the very first leg of its UK-wide tour, occupying the platform with lots of information detailing the history of Railways, and a host of interactive displays which was great for the kids, and big kids alike!
We also catch the last arrivals of the day from the three trains in service today, with 50033 'Glorious' arriving at 16.10 before heading to the diesel depot, GWR tank 1450 with auto coaches 178 and W 238 W ‘Chaffinch’ working a rare combination sandwiched between the two carriages, arriving at 16.47 and lastly, the LMS Stanier Mogul arriving with the 17.50 and shunting the stock back to the sheds. | 29.06.2025
