During my trip to Spain in November one of the highlights was seeing these fine sounding locos on passenger trains - Spain doesn’t have many loco hauled trains these days! Sadly these only work on Talgo stock, so no proper chance to ride behind them and hear the thrash. Recorded 23-25/11/23 at a variety of locations. The 334s are very similar to the UK Class 67. They tend to work in pairs incase of a failure, as they could be delayed for hours in remote Spain, waiting for a rescue loco to come. In order we see:

1: 334 016 + 334 023 passing Valdemoro working from Madrid - Almeria
2: 334 006 + 334 020 passing Valdemoro working from Almeria - Madrid
3-4: 334 028 + 334 006 arriving & departing Madrid Atocha working to Almeria
5: 334 016 + 334 004 storming past Valdemoro working from Almeria - Madrid
6: 334 010 + 334 016 arrive at Madrid Atocha
7: the same pair departing Alcázar De San Juan
8: 334 028 + 334 020 arriving into Alcázar De San Juan
9: the same pair departing Atocha
