Haslemere (King's Rd Footbridge) + Havant Level Crossing
3rd July 2012
On a yet another damp and dull day in the Summer of 2012, I gave Haslemere a visit and filmed from the footbridge to the South of the Station, along King's Road. All I captured on film were the normal EMU's on this route from London Waterloo to Portsmouth (Direct). Later that day I went further down the line to Havant and stood on the footbridge next to the old Junction Signalbox and Level Crossing. Again capturing Class 444 and 450's on the Waterloo/Portsmouth services. Several EMU Class 377's are seen on Brighton and London Victoria services and Class 313's on the Coastal Route to Littlehampton. The highlight was to witness Top'n'Tailed Special Rail Tour with Locomotives EWS Class 66177 + 66003 on the rear as her train passed under the bridge and headed for the Coastal Line. Despite the awful weather I hope this video takes you back to the period with fond memories and do feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read, and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually and also If you have enjoyed this production, then please like and subscribe...
