Greater Anglia Class 90s - 90014

Description
Locomotive hauled passenger trains on the Great Eastern Main Line between London and Norwich (Thorpe) ended after 169 years without any ceremony on 25th March 2020. This is my tribute to the last generation of loco hauled services which were formed of rakes of eight or nine [toward the end seven or eight] Mk.3 coaches sandwiched between a Class 90 locomotive at the London end and a Driving Van Trailer [DVT] of the 821xx series at the Norwich end of the train. These trains had replaced the previous generation of Great Eastern loco hauled services from 2004. This stock had previously worked on the West Coast Main Line between London Euston and Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow, originally under British Rail ownership and then with Virgin West Coast after privatisation.

Most of the video is mobile phone footage.

90014

On 29th Jul 2013 90014 is seen leaving Colchester with a Liverpool St to Norwich service. At this time 90014 carried "ONE" livery with the original "GreaterAnglia" logo. The name carried was "Norwich And Norfolk Festival".

On 9th January 2018, 90014 is seen leaving Colchester in the evening with a Liverpool St to Norwich train. The whole train is now in Greater Anglia Grey and White livery with the current "Greater Anglia" logo.

Two days later on 11th January 2018, 90014 is seen arriving at Colchester and from the front left window of the train arriving at Liverpool St.
