Top & Tail 47s and a Test Train at Ely & Whittlesford, 19th February 2023
The extra was formed of 47813, ten Mark 2 coaches & 47815. 47813 was painted in West Coast Railway Companys maroon livery and 47815 was painted in an approximation of BR two-tone green. This train is seen passing in front of Ely cathedral and then later passing Whittlesford Parkway. Sorry about the crazy tripod action! 47815 seemed to be suffering an engine malady judging by the amount of exhaust.
