Set 2 was operated by Direct Rail Services recently repainted 47810, Along with 57308 fitted with a "Taking you to the tour" Headboard and Painted Buffers. This was sandwiching Anglia and Arriva stock. During this video I apologise for PJD (You should know who he is) for shouting as the set leaves.
The 3rd set was the Trans Pennine set, Using Direct Rail Services 47813 and 853 "Express" On the Sunday this operated various services but we travelled on the additional 17:50 Doncaster-Liverpool Service, And Alighted at Manchester Piccadilly. The service was operated with DRSs own stock.
I would like to thank all that were involved in running the services last month, From DRS/Northern/TPE/DBS Crewe to the Station staff and signallers for not failing the day.
