"The (elusive) Silver & Green Dream Machine", Brno - Moravské Budějovice, 26th September 2023

On the second day of the Grumpy Tour KDS Kladno owned 751 115 was joined by Moravska Zeleznicni owned 751 335 so that several branch lines without run round facilities could be traversed. The first was Hrušovany u Brna to Židlochovice which had been extensively rebuilt and re-opened in late 2022. The second was Šakvice to Hustopeče. After passing Znojmo the train reversed at Šatov, the last station before the Austrian border.

At Grešlové Mýto there was time for the locos two return to top and tail mode and give a photo opportunity where the light was actually decent. After the train arrived at Moravské Budějovice it would reverse again, which is the subject of a subsequent video posting.
