Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of York taken on 14/01/1992. Welcome to this new year of my archive collection. Taken from the Popular Holgate Bridge after a long abscence the overhead catenary is up and the class 91s are running up and down the ECML. There are still a few diesel loco hauled services running and still quite a bit of freight to be seen. Keep warm and I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories.
