Excellent Fast Freight at Sandbach 18 Feb 26

Description
Wednesday 18th February I went on a days filming away from Carlisle. First destination Sandbach, on the Crewe to Manchester main line. We knew there'd be freight but circumstances meant we saw more than we expected: Intermodals, Aggregates, Engineer's plus light engine pair and passenger trains on local and express service. And boy, did some of those freights speed through the points/

Thanks to Paul at West Coast Mainline Trains / Planes for suggesting the trip and accompanying me. We started out at 0543 from Carlisle to get to Sandbach by 0825! I might have been bitterly cold but it was so worthwhile!

More from this fantastic day in future videos!
