On 1st April 1994 Hertfordshire Railtours organised a Southern Region only train comprising of 33116 as diesel motive power coupled to a Western Division 4-BEP & 4-CIG as the passenger coaches. The two EMUs were fully operational with no motors. The route included a number of terminus stations, the video shows, Shepperton, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis, there may have been more but I really can't remember. If anyone has a clue let me know. Although there is a lot of wind noise which I have done my best to suppress, I've included video of the Mid-Sussex line because of the semaphore signals which have only recently - twenty or so years later - been replaced with colour light SSI controlled signals. Littlehampton, Barnham [not shown sadly] and Bognor Regis were semaphore signalled at this time. Sorry about the poor audio, but its a bit of nostalgia for someone I'm sure!
