I headed home late in the afternoon afternoon, as by this time most rolling stock had left Litchurch Lane, with just a handful of paths for convoys remaining, but noteworthy moves featured here include LSL 60007 'Sir Nigel Gresley' + 60532 'Blue Peter' + D213 'Andania' + 45118 'The Royal Artilleryman' working 5232 Derby Litchurch Lane - Crewe H.S to Chaddesden Sidings where the Peak led back to Toton for turning. We also had the 4TC moved by 50008 'Thunderer', the 4 Vep unit 3417 'Gordon Pettitt' dragged by D6515 'Lt Jenny Lewis RN', various Class 37s, , light engines, convoys and more as normality continued to resume and locomotives and rolling stock head home after the Greatest Gathering! | 06.05.2025
