Steel coils are brought up from Margam in South Wales to the British Steel plant in Shotton in North Wales for further process. Working is 6M76 Margam Tc to Dee Marsh Sidings & Return 6V75 Dee Marsh Sidings to Margam Tc Normally runs every day apart from Sundays. Regular traction now regeared DB Cargo 66’6s inc 66660 - 66652 - 66657 - 66658 this month !! (What i seen away)
Cement is taken down to Avonmouth from the Pen y Ffordd plant I gather for export. This is scheduled to run every Sunday Tuesday & Thursday. Working is 6V41 Pen y Ffordd Cement to Avonmouth Hanson Sidings & 6M42 Avonmouth Hanson Sidings to Pen y Ffordd Cement empties running every Monday Wednesday & Friday. Only one change early in the month 66728 failed at Pen y Ffordd sdgs so 66720 was brought over from Hams Hall to rescue the load to Bescot were 66728 was detached then the liad carried on to Avonmouth
