ALL THE LAYOUTS from the 2026 Segdemoor Gauge O Group MODEL RAILWAY SHOW at the King Alfred School
This exhibition offered some really high quality, detailed model layouts on display, and amoung the many great examples of modelling on display here, stand outs included Bachdore Quay, Thiswaye, Chard Junction and a working example of a Hornby O Gauge tinplate clockwork train set, with some of the engines and stock dating back to the early 1920s! This was set up in a side room at the venue and certainly impressed all who walked in to see it! | 21.02.2026

A model railway exhibition hosted by the Sedgemoor Gauge O Group was held at Burnham-on-Sea's King Alfred School. The event showcased a variety of detailed O-gauge layouts, including representations of Bachdore Quay, Thiswaye, Chard Junction, and a working Hornby tinplate clockwork train set with historic stock dating back to the early 1920s.
