RARE Class 50 on East West Rail! | 60099 New Livery, 68002 Tesco & HST Measurement Train
We begin at Worcestershire Parkway railway station where we catch British Rail Class 68 No. 68002 hauling 4V44 Daventry – Wentloog Tesco freight. Also passing through is the impressive Network Rail Measurement Train formed of British Rail Class 43 power cars 43062 and 43013 — a rare and always welcome sight!
Next we move to Oxford for something very special — British Rail Class 50 No. 50050 working what we believe to be a route learning move along the newly reopened East West Rail line. We see it arrive in from Crewe before heading back out towards Milton Keynes Central — classic traction on brand new infrastructure!
Finally, we head to Reading railway station and Reading West where freight steals the show.
