As the Mahesana bound Passenger departs Ahmedabad with a beautiful violet YDM4 of the Sabarmati Diesel Loco shed, it encounters a Vatva WDM3D departing with the Jammu Tawi bound express parallel to it from the Broad Guage platform.
The two trains try to chase each other until the Sabarmati bridge over the Sabarmati river where the Jammu Express is sent on the dual gauge bridge, leading to the stopping of the Mahesana Passenger.
Meanwhile SBI WDG4 twins cross with a BTPN rake in tow.
