It was a very quiet day on the national network owing to continued strike action, and I caught the set giving a great thrashing performance away from Exeter St Davids for the notoriously steep 1 in 37 climb to Exeter Central, before it had a break and restarted its return journey, forming the 1Z15 heading home via the old Southern London Waterloo route through Yeovil, Salisbury, Basingstoke and Waterloo before returning to Hastings.
