Trains at Basingstoke - 22/8/25
Basingstoke see’s services from South Western Railway which include class 444‘s travelling from London Waterloo & Weymouth and also Portsmouth Harbour to London. Class 450’s Also run down to Portsmouth Via Eastleigh as well as forming a service from Basingstoke to London Waterloo which calls at many suburban stations along the way. The West Of England Line also joins the South Western Mainline at Basingstoke so you see class 159’s as well as the EMU’s.
Furthermore, CrossCountry and GWR Both follow the line left up towards Reading as a shuttle service runs from Reading to Basingstoke for GWR calling at small stations in Berkshire like Mortimer. CrossCountry use voyagers and head over to GWML using this route.
